Privacy Policy

1. Information You Submit

User-review submissions and newsletter sign-ups are currently closed. If previously received review or email data remains, it is retained only for its original publication or delivery-management purpose and for any legally required period. If we receive a name, email address, and message as an inquiry, we use them to reply and provide necessary follow-up.

2. Short-Lived Abuse-Prevention Identifier

To limit excessive analysis and submissions, the server converts the request IP address into a keyed HMAC-SHA256 identifier. Covered operations include analysis, search suggestions and review retrieval, price checks, and voting. The dedicated rate-limit store contains only that identifier, a purpose scope, and a timestamp. Records older than 48 hours are deleted during the next rate-limit operation, so they may remain while no such operation occurs. Raw IP addresses, User-Agent strings, game App IDs, Steam IDs, and vanity names are not stored there. Infrastructure providers may separately process technical logs for security, reliability, and incident response.

3. Search, Analysis, and Steam Library Diagnosis Data

We may store a searched game App ID, game name, search type, and public analysis results to operate and improve the service. Search logs do not store IP addresses or User-Agent strings and are not linked to the rate-limit identifier. For Steam library diagnosis, we use the submitted Steam ID or vanity name to retrieve the public profile (display name, image, and profile URL) and public library (owned games and playtime) from the Steam API and build the response. Our application does not store that profile or library as diagnosis data. Only when you opt in to the AI roast do we send aggregate game count, total playtime, pile-of-shame count/rate/estimated value, and average unusual-posting signal to Google Gemini; Steam IDs, display names, and game titles are excluded.

4. Local Storage

Watchlists, taste-matcher results, language, theme, and similar settings may be stored in your browser localStorage. They normally remain on your device and can be removed through browser settings. Information you actively submit through a feature is processed by that feature.

5. Google Analytics, Advertising, and Cookies

This site may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google AdSense. Google may process browsing, device, and advertising interaction data using cookies or similar technologies. We do not intentionally send names or email addresses as GA4 event values. Availability, consent, ad personalization, and cookie deletion can be managed through any settings shown on the site and through browser or Google settings. Affiliate partners may also process visits to their links.

6. Service Providers and Data Requests

Hosting, database, analytics, advertising, and email providers may process data under their own terms and privacy policies. To request access, correction, or deletion, contact us below with enough information to identify the relevant record. The available response and retention period may vary due to law, identity verification, and technical constraints. Last updated: July 20, 2026.
